Health, Well-Being, and Productivity of Senior Employees in the Era of Artificial Intelligence

The development of artificial intelligence has brought significant changes to the world of work, including for senior employees who face challenges in terms of health, well-being, and productivity. This literature-based study aims to analyze the relationship between these factors and the dynamics of artificial intelligence technology use in modern organizations. Using a qualitative approach and thematic synthesis, this research examines various international publications on the impact of technology on the well-being of older workers. The results of the analysis show that although artificial intelligence has the potential to increase work efficiency and support health through digital technology, senior employees still face risks such as a decline in professional identity, unfairness in algorithm-based evaluation systems, and job insecurity that affects mental health. Organizations can reduce these risks by providing digital training, building fair evaluation systems, and involving senior employees in technology-based innovation projects. The practical implications of this research emphasize the importance of managerial policies that place senior employees as an integral part of digital transformation. With proper management, companies can create an inclusive work environment that maintains health, improves well-being, and maintains the productivity of senior workers amid technological disruption.
