This research aims to conduct research on the structure of communication management and coordination of multidisciplinary teams in large-scale construction projects and the role of documentation and communication standardization mechanisms in reducing the potential for rework and improving the quality of managerial decisions. Cross-disciplinary communication processes, scientific diversity, and high project complexity require a systematic communication system, integrated documentation standards, and the application of collaborative technologies such as Building Information Modeling (BIM). The research uses a qualitative approach with literature analysis from various recent scientific publications, focusing on thematic synthesis of communication and documentation practices in large construction projects. The results of the research show that a clear communication structure, the use of collaborative digital platforms, and standardized documentation mechanisms can accelerate information transfer, reduce miscommunication, and increase accountability in decision-making. Support for inclusive leadership, continuous training, and adaptation to information technology innovations are key to the effectiveness of multidisciplinary team coordination. This research concludes that optimizing communication and documentation management, supported by a collaborative work culture and digital technology, contributes significantly to the efficiency, quality, and success of large-scale construction projects. These findings can be used as a basis for developing adaptive and sustainable project management practice guidelines for professionals and academics in the construction field.
